What's New For 2022?
The full redesign for the 2022 Nissan Frontier was a long-time coming, but it's now here. As mentioned, the Frontier features an all-new look with rugged styling, a larger front grille and other changes on the outside. Inside, the cab has been updated and there's a larger touchscreen for all your infotainment functions. Additionally, some new tech, particularly on the safety front, brings the Frontier into the modern automotive world.
Performance and Technology
There are three trim levels and a couple cab styles for the Frontier, but regardless of those options, you'll have an impressive 3.8-liter V-6, which delivers 310 horsepower with 281 pound-feet of torque. A 4x4 system with low-range gearing is optional, while the 2022 Frontier starts off with a rear-wheel drive setup.
The updated tech in the new 2022 Nissan Frontier is a welcome addition to this midsized truck. A standard 8-inch touchscreen with smartphone integration starts you off, while you'll also get a forward collision mitigation system in the base level.
